Crystal Kid (whose real name Bobb Kohan) is an Earth-born super-hero who eventually joined the Legion of Super-Heroes. He has the mutant ability to create crystal structures.
Although he was first introduced in in Legion of Super-Heroes (vol. 2) #272 (Feb. 1981), he was not originally a member of the Legion. He officially joined the Legion during the "Five Year Gap," a time in which many heretofore non-Legionnaires were inducted into the elite super-team. Most of Crystal Kid's time as a Legionnaires was actually chronicled. He was first mentioned as a member in Legion of Super-Heroes (vol. 4) #28 (April 1992).
