Aaron was a bodyguard for Dr. Cobleskill (also known as the mutant villain Peace Monger). Aaron was also identified as a member of Peace Monger's gang. Cobleskill was an anti-racism activist. This might seem like a reasonable cause, but Cobleskill was so fanatical in his beliefs that he was willing to incite race riots and risk the lives of others in pursuit of his goals. Although the precise beliefs and motivations of Aaron himself are never elucidated, it seems certain that he shared his leader's ideology.
