Orrgo is an extraterrestrial "space god" who was summoned by the Headmen using an idol known as the "God from Beyond." The precise relationship between the "God from Beyond" statue and Orrgo may not be entirely clear. Is there actually a "God from Beyond" which was a distinct entity from Orrgo and which was the basis for this statue? Is the "God from Beyond" another name for Orrgo itself? Or is "God from Beyond" only the statue (or idol). If "God from Beyond" refers only to an inanimate statue, then one must ask how it came be imbued with such power that made it capable of controlling a powerful being such as Orrgo. There must be something to the God from Beyond statue than mere inanimate stone or metal.
