In 1857 years later, Hellfire Club member Malkin Grey was once again beating his wife Eleanor. Malkin was so enraged and so out of control that the spirit of his ancestor Charles Grey was able to possess his body. Charles Grey caused Malkin's body to stab himself to death. Malkin's spirit thus left his body. Charles entered Malkin's body and re-animated it. Malkin Grey, as a spirit, figured out what had happened and vied with Charles Grey for control of his body. Before either of them were able to gain control for long, Eleanor crushed the skull of Malkin Grey's body with a heavy metal poker, permanently killing the body. This left Charles and Malkin Grey with no body to possess.
