Jonas Fugard was a white Azanian government minister who strongly campaigned for the end of Apartheid policies in his country. Governor Fugard was very sympathetic to the plight of blacks under his country's legally enforced racist policies. For his anti-Apartheid stance, Mr. Fugard was killed by the villain known as "Panther" (who should NOT be confused with the Black Panther).
