In fact, this Rick Jones was simply delusional about his identity and simply shared the same name as somebody famous. While this Rick Jones was wandering the streets of New York City claiming to be the famous Rick Jones, his worried wife, Jane Jones, hired Jessica Jones from the Alias Investigations to find her husband.
