The Man With No Face has been described as the Chinese equivalent of Captain America. Like the famous American hero, the Many With No Face was created by his country's scientist's during World War II for the purpose of being a national champion.
After many years of being in "limbo" (i.e., not being used as a character), the "Man With No Face" was revived and used again in Captain America (vol. 5) #44 (Jan. 2009), written by Ed Brubaker, with art by Luke Ross, Fabio Laguna and Rick Magyar.
