The relationship the Panther Spirit to T'Challa (the Black Panther) and to the Panther God worshipped by the Black Panther Cult is unclear to us based purely on our readings of available commentary. No doubt a careful reading of Black Panther (vol. 2) #1-4 would make all of this much clearer. We're not even certain if the "Panther Spirit" should be classified as a "deity.
