Koko is often known as Brainiac's "space monkey." Koko is an animal, but exhibits significant intelligence and can apparently understand what Brainiac says to it or instructs it to do.
What is the connection between Koko, the white alien monkey pet of the original Brainiac, and Koko, the white alien monkey pet of Legion of Super-Heroes member Brainiac 5? Are they somehow the same monkey? Or is the companion of far-future Brainiac 5 the namesake of he original Koko?
