The super-hero Captain Britain encountered the Children of the Shadow Lands at some point in time between Super Spider-Man and Captain Britain #253 and the British Hulk Comic #1. Merlyn mentioned Captain Britain's encounter with the Children of the Shadow Lands when the wizard was referencing some of Captain Britain's "darker, more mystical" adventures. The "Children" were essentially mentioned in passing, and were never actually depicted. Perhaps their adventure will be recounted at some future time.
