During this struggle, the Weird Sisters were released from the Stranger's laboratory world, where they had apparently been confined for quite some time. In Quasar #19, Jack of Hearts led a group of recently released prisoners from Stranger's laboratory world to Earth. The Weird Sisters were among these refugees.
