Officially, Khlog's name is represented like this: KhLΘG.
Khlog is an evil creature that was spawned from the shadow of the Great Spirit (i.e., Manitou or Gitche Manitou). Khlog takes on the forms of creatures that do not exist.
The Hand of the Creator is a mystic amulet entrusted to the Keewazi tribe (the tribe of Fantastic Four ally Wyatt Wingfoot). The Hand of the Creator is used as a defense against Khlog.
One of the identities that Khlog assumed was the "Golden Gator," which was based on the urban legend of alligators dwelling in the sewers.
