Damek was raised to revere Alex Tennyson (Dreamkiller) as an heroic ancestor and to view the super-hero Darkhawk (Chris Powell) as a major enemy of his lineage. Damek the Earth-Shaker came back in time from the late 21st Century to assist Dreamkiller against Darkhawk. But when Damek (who wasn't really evil) learned the true nature of Dreamkiller, he turned against Dreamkiller and helped Darkhawk. He later helped Darkhawk defeat the Mahari alien invasion.
