General Moorbecx was a high-ranking military officer in the totalitarian African nation of Azania. There were many parallels between Azania and South Africa at the time this story was published, as both countries had majority black populations led by white supremacist governments. General Moorbecx was very much a white supremacist himself and he directly commanded his nation's team of super-soldiers, known as "The Supremacists." When the Supremacists failed in their mission against Wakanda and the Black Panther, General Moorbecx tried to launch nuclear missiles against Wakanda. But the Black Panther thwarted him once again.
