In Thor #444, Cindy Lou was a homeless girl who lived beneath the streets of New York City with her dog Max (who she dressed in a Santa costume for Christmas). Cindy Lou befriended the Groon, an apparent Morlock who stole Christmas presents from surface dwellers to give to homeless people living in the sewers.
