Working from the notes of the original Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. McCauley (who had been stripped of his medical certificate) re-built and re-animated a series of corpses. These were the bodies of people Dr. McCauley himself had murdered. The original Frankenstein's monster confronted McCauley and destroyed his monstrous creations.
