"Frank" (which is probably not his real name) was a minor demon who masqueraded as a Hollywood agent. His ruse was an attempt to obtain the Talisman of Movie Magic. Ultimately Frank was defeated and destroyed by the superheroine Supergirl and the angelic super-hero Zauriel.
