Sue was the younger sister (or perhaps younger friend) of Amanda, a girl who had befriended the strange-looking mutant child Andy Lion (known as "Wild Dog"). When somebody tried to kidnap Sue, Andy Lyon rescued her. This clearly demonstrated that Andy Lyon was a nice person, despite his strange mutant visage.
Sue was NOT a mutant. She should not be confused with "Susan," a young mutant also introduced in this story.
