The Fashion Police are a major law enforcement organization in the Londinium dimension, an alternative timeline in which Romans conquered the entire Earth and fashion is outlawed for everybody except the Fashion Police. When he snazzily-dressed Motormouth arrived in the Londinium dimension, she naturally founder self targeted for arrest by the Fashion Police and their tactical squad, .Q.U.A.N.T.S.
The narrative captions in the panel in which Motormouth arrives in Londinium describe this timeline and the place the Fashion Police have there: "The place, Londinium. The year MCXLVII. The Romans conquered the Earth, and you know the Italians . . . They're into style . . . Seriously into style . . . So much so tht it's a crime to look cool . . . unless you're a member of the Fashion Police!"
