When Clark Kent and Lois Lane investigated they found that the dead man, Morton Carling, had just inherited a $20 million life trust. Now that he was dead, the money would be divided among forty new heirs. Lois and Clark decided to interview all of the heirs, each of whom had a half-million dollar motive to murder Carling.
