In panel 5 on page 5 of the story "The Batman Vs. the Cat-Woman" in Batman #3 (Fall 1940), Detective McGonigle sees a gang of thugs getting into a getaway car. Behind the car is a restaurant identified by two separate signs as "Zita's Cafe." Zita herself is never actually seen in this story. Zita is never mentioned in dialogue. Her name was only seen on the signs in this panel.
