Tyrone Taylor was the lead actor in the Hollywood musical film "Melody of 1941." He co-starred with Myrna Rogers.
On pages 10 and 11 in the Batman story retroactively titled "Professor Strange's Fear Dust," Robin is confronting a gang of criminals who work for Professor Hugo Strange. One of the criminals is on top of a movie marquee at the Rex Theater. The marquee clearly displays the title of the film currently showing there, along with its stars: "Melody of 1941: starring Tyrone Taylor and Myrna Rogers."
Robin swings on a sign for Dr. H. Robinson, Dentist" and acrobatically swings up onto the top of the movie marquee. He is then able to punch out Hugo Strange's gunman. Neither Myrna Rogers nor Tyrone Taylor are ever seen in this story, but the marque with their names on it is completely readable in two separate panels.
