Anna is a lesbian attorney who briefly dated Batwoman (Kathy Kane). Anna looking for a serious relationship, but she broke up with Batwoman because she thought she was "tomcatting around" (i.e., acting promiscuously with other women).
In the Batwoman story ("Agitato") in Detective Comics #854 (Aug. 2009), Kathy Kane has breakfast with her attorney girlfriend. Anna was somewhat angry when she tells Kathy, "I told you when Mallory introduced us that I was looking for a serious relationship, and you agreed to that. You said you wanted stability. But instead, you're out at all hours tomcatting around. I should've known you were using me as a rebound. It's my fault. I should never have gotten involved with anyone so privileged. You take everyone for granted."
Kathy Kane was not, in fact, "tomcatting" around at night. She was engaged in her superheroic activities as Batwoman. But she didn't want to reveal her secret identity to her girlfriend. Anna broke up with Kathy, telling her, "Call me when you've decided to grow up."
