In the Sudan Magog found that an as-yet-unnamed evil world-spanning organization had soldiers there who captured poor Sudanese villagers, chopped their arms off, and used "wonder tech" devices to re-animate the victims and turn them into zombie slaves. The soldier were essentially using the now-armless men as beasts of burden. Magog killed the mostly Caucasian soldiers who were herding the zombie slaves. It wasn't entirely clear if Magog was able to free the slaves from their zombie state, or if the zombie slaves simply returned to a fully dead state, or if they remained in that sad state.
