Abraxas is a mystic entity of a dual nature. Abraxas is the basis (presumably meaning the source of power) for the "Talisman of Abraxas." The powerful sorcerer Doctor Strange gave Namor the Sub-Mariner the Talisman of Abraxas in order to help lessen the problem of Namor's personality shifts.
