Mr. Fowler arranged for movie star Daphne Dean to "fall in love again" with her childhood sweetheart, Barry Allen, as part of a publicity stunt to promote her new film. Barry Allen was in love with Iris West at the time, and rejected Daphne Dean's attempts to rekindle a romance. Nevertheless, the incident generated a substantial amount of news and publicity, which helped the film release. On that count, Mr. Fowler might be judged successful, although duplicitous.
