There are many religious aspects to the story involving Baby Karen. The baby was first presented to Matt Murdock just 6 months after his beloved Karen Page died. A girl, probably a teen mother, who presented the infant named "Karen" to Matt Murdock claimed the baby was the new Messiah. The young mother claimed that an angel had told her that Matt Murdock is really Daredevil, and the angel said that he would protect the baby.
This was all a plot by the new Mysterio, Nicholas Macabes, to torment Daredevil. Mysterio's manipulations convinced Daredevil that Baby Karen was born of "immaculate conception." Then Mysterio tried to convince Daredevil that he needed to kill the baby.
Baby Karen is also possibly the reincarnation of Daredevil's mentor, Stick.
Naturally there are many Catholic elements in the story of Baby Karen, as Daredevil is a very Catholic character and this story arc was written by self-avowed devout Catholic filmmaker Kevin Smith. The baby herself might not be thought of as particularly "religious," as she was just a baby and turned out not to be the "Messiah" after all. But her story is replete with overt religious content.
