A Japanese soldier survived on an island from World War II until 1964. An American astronaut's capsule crash-landed on the same island. When a tornado-like creature emerged, people thought the tornado creature was the American astronaut. Actually, the tornado creature was the Japanese soldier, who had been changed into a tornado being by a nuclear blast. The Japanese soldier/tornado creature was impersonating the American astronaut.
