Ahnshen was a tailor in the village of the Sun Folk. He thought he had fallen in love with Moonshade. In reality, he was somewhat obsessed with her. She only had eyes for Strongbow, however.
Ultimately, Ahnshen realized that he wasn't truly in love with Moonshade. He was only in love with his vision of her - how he imagined her to be, not the person she truly was.
