Kestrus was a member of the Avian race (also known as Bird-People). She, along with the rest of her people, lived in the Aerie (i.e., Sky-Island).
The Avian religion was very peaceful. But a violent sect arose known as the Bloodravens. This group built a mystic bomb. They wanted to desroy life on the surface world. Kestrus was one of many Bird-People who helped search throughout her city for the Bloodravens.
