Sylatin was a native of Breakworld. Ostensibly Sylatin was an aide to Powerlord Kruun, the leader of Breakworld. But Sylatin secretly formed an alliance with S.W.O.R.D. operative Paulletz. Together they planned to betray Powerlord Kruun. S.W.O.R.D. wanted to thwart Kruun because he and other Breakworld leaders wanted to preemptively attack Earth based on Breakworld prophecies that a mutant from Earth would destroy Breakworld.
Sylatin was ultimately killed by a fellow Breakworld native named Ord, a Kruun loyalist.
Sylatin was later revealed as a double agent, who was spying on S.W.O.R.D. for Kruun.
