The Vegans are an alien race of humanoids who are far taller than regular Earth humans. They are typically about 30 feet in height.
The Vegan homeworld is Vega IV. They control an empire of planets throughout the Vega system.
The best known Vegan was "Colossus" (not to be confused with the Russian X-Man who goes by that name). Colossus (a.k.a. Agent 7M) came to Earth but his plans were thwarted by the human heroes Hank Pym (Giant-Man) and the Wasp.
Vegans have distinctive religious beliefs and are known to be somewhat superstitious. When Colossus came to Earth, natives of Africa worshipped him as a god and he demanded that they bring him human sacrifices. Giant-Man and the Wasp manipulated Agent 7M's own beliefs and superstitions in order to frighten him away from Earth.
