The AIM Androids (or AIM humanoids) who appeared in Iron Man Annual #4 were apparently non-sentient robots. One source identified them as a "herd of cyborgs," but this is probably imprecise, as "cyborg" would generally suggest humans with mechanical or robotic implants, rather than totally artificial beings. Perhaps they were cyborgs rather than robots. Sources differ on this point.
The AIM Androids appeared in the same comic book story as two A.I.M. Guardians. These two two different classes of AIM robots, however. The Guardians were much larger and more formidable, while the "AIM Androids" were more human-sized and far more numerous.
