Almost no commentary is available about "The Face." The character first appeared in The Battle for Bludhaven #4 (Late July 2006). This is one of the character's only appearance to date.
In this story, Father Time calls in The Face to interrogate a captured member of the Atomic Knights. Father Time had previously met The Face in an underground concentration camp in 1950.
Not long after that, in Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters #1 (Sep. 2006), The Face interrogated Firebrand. This was also done for the Face's ally, Father Time.
