Doctor Strange's allies Wong and Clea were in the other-dimensional Realm of the Shadowqueen (also known as "Kaishek"). They were both taken captive by the Lords of the Golden Dragon, who were taking them to the demon-following woman who ruled the dimension: Shialmar the Shadowqueen. She intended to use them as hostages.
After travelling for a day, a group of rebels against Shialmar's evil rule freed Clea and Wong. One of the rebel leaders was Bayan. One of Bayan's close allies among the rebels was a man named Duron.
After Bayan, Duron and other rebels freed Clea and Wong, they killed Shialmar's warriors who had held Clea and Wong captive. Unfortunately, Wong was soon recaptured by Shialmar's Sky-Slavers.
For a number of weeks, Clea lived in the wilderness with Duron and the other rebels. They fought against Shialmar's forces. Eventually Clea learned that the rebels she fought with had previously ruled the land. Duron and the others followed the wizard king known as "Silver Fox." Clea also learned that the wizard king leader Silver Fox and rebel leader Bayan were actually the same person.
Eventually Bayan, Duron and the other rebels, along with Clea, encountered Doctor Strange, who had tracked Clea to the Kaichek dimension. Strange was being held captive by the enemies of Duron and the other rebels, and thus he was with a group of people who were attacked by the rebels. When Clea finally recognized Doctor Strange among the group, she shouted to Duron and Bayan to cease their attack. Strange was in the process of attacking back at the rebels, in an attempt at defense. But when Doctor Strange finally recognzed Clea (who had, after weeks in Kaichek, begun dressing differently), he stoppped his attack and embraced his lady love. Doctor Strange joined forces with Duron and Bayan and the other rebels and together they attacked Shialmar's headquarter city. They eventually found and rescued Wong.
