There are a number of interesting religious aspects to this character, including the fact that Mikas used the alias "Soulfather" and utilized a monstrous serpent named "Doomprayer." He also utilized demon-like creatures to attack Iron Man.
Mikas was quite powerful. He was able to draw upon the power of the Earth itself as the source of his superhuman powers. He could use this power to accomplish a number of feats, including teleportation, casting of illustions, mental control of other people, and firing energy bolts. Mikas also utilized the Dark Ones (two large robots) and Doomprayer in his attacks on Iron Man.
Legend had it that Doomprayer was a gigantic serpent whose coils wound down all the way into the molten core of the Earth. The "Doomprayer" serpent that Mikas had attack Iron Man wasn't big enough to reach to the core of the Earth, of course, but it was pretty big (maybe the size of a dinosaur). It is not clear whether this "Doomprayer" was an actual legendary serpent that Mikas captured and used, or whether it was an illusion he cast, or whether it was another robot that he used.
