G. Lawton Sargent was a retired admiral who lived in a white house. He was targeted by the villainous Red Skull and killed with the Skull's infamous Dust of Death.
Admiral Sargent (as he called himself) was a member of the Federal Open Market Committee. The Red Skull told Captain America about Mr. Glass's membership on this important committee, and told Cap that his plan was to murder all members of this committee. This was part of the Red Skull's plot to destroy America's economy in order to mark the 30th anniversary of Adolph Hitler's death.
