The Falcon visited Wakanda with his girlfriend, Leila Taylor. They were guests of the Black Panther, who was helping the Falcon come up with some artificial super powers. But Leila was incredibly bored there and convinced the Black Panther to have somebody fly her to a big city.
The Black Panther sent Leila to Lagos, Nigeria. En route, Leila flirted with the stoic pilot flying the aircraft there.
As the craft was leaving Wakanda, Leila observed: "Hey! The window-- it's turned to black! What's happening?"
The pilot (or perhaps he was only a bodyguard/escort, but he appeared to be sitting where a pilot would sit) said: "No-one is to know the location of our land--it is our rule!"
Leila said: "Then Leila will have to content herself with you handsome escorts, won't she?"
The pilot thought to himself: "Oh, would my little M'Deari scowl were she to have heard that!"
M'Deari's name is identified in panel 4 on page 15 in Captain America (vol. 1) #170.
