K'hari was a member of the D'Bari race. K'hari was seen as a mounted corpse in Wolverine Annual 2000
K'hari was not identified by name until Marvel Heroes #33 (2011), published by Marvel UK. This issue also introduced G'aspix, the lifemate of K'hari. According to some sources, the D'Bari (G'aspix) seen in Marvel Heroes was actually from an alternative reality or alternative timestream (Earth-9411).
K'hari and G'aspix were among the few D'Bari who survived the destruction of their planet. G'aspix was one of the D'Bari who announced their intention to colonize Earth unless their chosen champion (the bounty hunter Death's Head) was defeated by an Earth champion. Earth (through SHIELD) chose the Hulk to face Death's Head in combat. A SHIELD agent attempted to betray the Hulk at the same time that the D'Bari attempted to betray Death's Head, which resulted in the two champions joining forces to teach SHIELD and the D'Bari a lesson.
Because G'aspix had lost his lifemate (K'Hari) to the alien hunter Tyrus Krill, G'aspix hated the idea that his people (the D'Bari) had chosen a bounty hunter like Death's Head to be their people's champion in the challenge against Earth.
