When Wolverine fought Hellfire Club soldiers in the opening pages of Uncanny X-Men #133, he used his claws to injure all of the soldiers who fought him, except Rosen. Although Rosen held a big gun on him and could have shot him, Wolverine pointed out that he is nearly unkillable and would probably be able to hurt Rosen terribly even if he was shot. Rosen wisely dropped his gun. Wolverine then grabbed him, but told him he wouldn't injure him if he (Rosen) told him what he knew about where Wolverine's fellow X-Men were being held captive by the Hellfire Club.
