A butler named Lou and a waitress named Mary, both servants of the Hellfire Club, appear in panels 1 and 2 on page 11 in The Uncanny X-Men #133.
Mary and Lou are among the servants helping at a big Hellfire Club "high society" party.
Lou enters a back room, leaving the main room where the party is being held. He is carrying a tray with empty glasses. He says: "How's the champagne holding out, Mary?"
Mary responds: "Better than my feet, Lou. It took us a week to set-up for this shindig, and it's going to take us a month to recover."
Lou then tells Mary: "Deliver this try to Senator Kelly's party. We're supposed to give him special attention."
Mary replies: "Kelly-- the presidential candidate? I didn't know he was a member of the Club."
Lou elaborates: "He isn't. He's Mr. Shaw's invited guest."
This little conversation may seen inconsequential, but it serves an important plot purpose. This is the first time that Senator Robert Kelly's name is ever mentioned. Senator Kelly would later become a very significant character in X-Men mythos. Also, this conversation serves to illustrate the degree to which the Hellfire Club is well-connected to powerful and important people, making them seem like an even more foreboding threat for the X-men.
