Willie Boy was a street thug in San Francisco. His little brother was killed by a shopkeeper during a robbery attempt gone bad. Willie Boy went to the shop and starting to beat up the storekeeper in order to get revenge.

Daredevil (who was living in San Francisco at the time) arrived on the scene and stoppd Willie Boy, beating him up some. Daredevil then lectured Willie Boy a bit, telling him that he should have helped his brother learn how to deal with life rather than stealing to get by.
