Hardware cleans up some eco-terrorists who are attacking Alva Technologies. While he is away, Deacon is taken hostage by an employee of Hard Co. named Tom. Curtis arrives to take control of the situation, but Tom commits suicide. A concerned Curtis begins to investigate, and we see the cameo of Donner in New York. Hardware tracks the incident to Montana, where he stumbles onto a battle scene, and encounters some weird looking creatures. Hardware thinks he is dealing with S.Y.S.T.E.M. The team, Heroes, shows up to help battle the creatures also and mention that they are stopping a similar invasions in New York. And Hardware dives into a warp hole.
