Although there were previous glimpses of the space craft carrying the "Partyers from Mars," the crew member known as "Helsman" was first identified specifically on page 8 in Megaton Man #3 (Apr. 1985). At this point he is not yet seen. The Partyers' space craft is seen here on a splash page, along with dialogue:
"Engineer! What's going on here?!!!"
