Astrid Bloom took new friend and fellow telepath Emma Frost off of Empire State University campus and onto the streets of real New York City. Using her telepathy to peak into the minds of New Yorkers, Astrid pointed out various interesting people to Emma. This included Larry, a homeless paranoid schizophrenic. Astrid explained to Emma that Larry's bizarre delusions include the belief that his bird has been cheating on him with his best friend. Astrid further explained that Larry also believes the world will end next week, and he wants to confront his cheating bird and cheating friend before that time.
