Astrid pointed out Professor Pinter, who routinely walks his dog Elvis on campus. Their walks, Astrid points out, always end with Elvis chasing birds. Astrid told Emma that today would be different.
When Elvis began to chase birds, Astrid used her telepathy to control the birds. She made them ferociously chase Elvis and Professor Pinter, forcing them back the way they came.
