Ron worked as a security guard at a bank in New York City. During the "Spider Island" event, Ron became infected and turned into a spider-monster. After "Spider Island" was over, Ron found himself naked, but normal again. He rushed back to the bank where he worked, but his timing was unfortunate. Just as Ron was entering the bank, a tank broke into the building and crushed Ron!
Although Ron never knew it, the tank was driven by a villain known as the Hijacker.
