In episode 4 of the TV series "Hostages," Agent Seabury (Duncan Carlisle's supervisor in the FBI) walked up to him and told him that the FBI review board which had done a mandatory review of Carlisle's fatal shooting of two bank robbers had cleared him of any wrongdoing. Moreover, Agent Seabury told him, the board was giving him a commendation for how he handled that incident.
Then Agent Seabury told Duncan he had a new assignment for him. Agent Seabury brought Duncan to meet Secret Service agent Stan Hoffman, who had requested to work with Duncan on a special inter-agency task force looking into the disappearance of nurse Angela Nix. Agent Seabury left Duncan with Agent Hoffman, saying: Just be sure to give him back to us when you're done.
