Sardath and Alanna used a small spacecraft to travel from Rann to Anthorann. Before they landed, their craft was shot down by a much larger, more powerful spacecraft, flown by an invading alien race known as the Morleenians.
The Morleenians attacked the domed colony of New Ranagar, intent on stealing the only water source on the planet Anthorann. Their attack was thwarted by the heroic Adam Strange, and the Morleenians fled back into space.
