During the 1930s, David Simons was a research chemist who worked for millionaire Herbert Walpole's company. Simons was caught stealing from the company. As punishment, Walpole forced Simons to work for low wages. (He is fortunate he did not go to jail!)
Simons grew to resent and hate his boss. He poisoned Herbert Walpole, killing him. The masked hero Night Raven investigated the murder and eventually caught and exposed the crimes of David Simons.
